
David Nii Kwansa Annorbah-Sarpei
David Nii Kwansa Annorbah-Sarpei is a Senior Agricultural Officer at the Directorate of Crop Services, Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), Ghana.
He holds an MPhil in Post-Harvest Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a BSc in Agricultural Technology (Agronomy) from the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. With a strong foundation in agronomic practices and post-harvest management, he plays a key role in coordinating national agricultural initiatives and supporting policy implementation for sustainable crop production.
Mr. Annorbah-Sarpei specializes in root and tuber crops as well as rice development, with a focus on climate-smart agriculture. He is a certified Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) Authorized Trainer and a Cadre Harmonisé Level 1 Analyst, offering technical expertise in sustainable production systems. His international exposure includes professional training in Thailand, Korea, India, and Japan, where he gained practical insights into climate-resilient agriculture, post-harvest innovations, rice value chains, and sericulture.
Beyond his technical roles, Mr. Annorbah-Sarpei is actively engaged in rural development and gender-responsive programming. He serves as the focal person for MoFA’s collaboration with the SOCODEVI TogetHER project, promoting financial inclusion and livelihood support through Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA) and Income Generating Activities (IGA). Through his work, he remains committed to advancing agricultural transformation, enhancing value chains, and empowering farming communities in Ghana.
