
Velibor Spalevic, Prof. PhD.
Velibor Spalevic is Professor at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Montenegro, professor at the Department of Geography of the University of Montenegro and was professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montenegro with the subject Methodology of scientific work.
He worked as a leading researcher at the Forestry Institute of Montenegro, and at the same time I was the president of the board of directors of the same Institute.
He was the editor-in-chief of the magazine “Agriculture and Forestry” of the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Montenegro.
He worked in the office of the European Commission, first as a senior task manager and assistant head of the office of the European Agency for Reconstruction, later task manager of the EU Delegation.
Initiator and president of the scientific board of the GEA (Geo Eco-Eco Agro), Chairman of the Department of Young Scientists and adviser to the World Association of Soil and Water Conservation, member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) , twice president of one of the EGU. Member of the Committee for Agriculture and Forestry of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU); member of the Engineering Academy of Serbia.
Member of numerous international scientific associations ( Member of the International Union of Soil Sciences – IUSS; Watershed and Forestry Management Society of Iran , Serbian Society for Land Studies, The Macedonian National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage – MAKCID , Elected Honorary Member of the Horticulture and Forestry Society from Transylvania, Balkan Environmental Association – B.EN.A. , Scientific Society of Agrarian Economists of the Balkans).
