Zvonimir Prpić, Assoc. Prof. PhD.

Zvonimir Prpić is an associate professor at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, at the Department of Animal Science and Technology.

He received his doctorate from the University of Zagreb in 2011 with the thesis “Relationship of breed with ewe milk yield, udder morphology and udder health”. So far, he has published 35 scientific articles indexed in the Web of Science and about 50 other papers. He is co-author of three books and a university textbook in the field of livestock husbandry. He was a guest lecturer at the Malta University of Arts, Science & Technology, while as a part of the scientific exchange, he was a guest researcher at Zhejiang University in China. He has been the collaborator on several national and international scientific and technological projects, mainly related to research on sheep and goat production traits. He was a member of the scientific committees of several scientific conferences, as well as an invited lecturer. Since 2016, he has been editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal „Journal of Central European Agriculture“, which was included in the WoS database during his tenure. He is a member of the advisory panel of the journal „Dairy“. Currently, he is the chairman of the Publications Committee of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture and a member of the European Association of Science Editors.
