Zeynep Tacer Caba, Assist. Prof. PhD.
Zeynep Tacer Caba, PhD. is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of BAU, with the PhD. degree (Istanbul Technical University, Food Engineering) and experience of more than 15 years in food engineering.
She has been active as a researcher, lecturer and supervisor in different areas of food science and engineering, in addition to being involved in 8 projects and she is the PI of 3 different University Funded Projects currently. Her expertise is on food chemistry, sustainable food solutions, sensory properties and functional bioactives. She was also responsible for project coordination and student supervising for two years in EIT Food Education projects of Food Solutions Master Class. She also conducted post-doctoral research within the Academy of Finland and EIT Food funded research projects. She has been working at Bahçeşehir University since 2019 as a lecturer, a project coordinator and researcher in national and international project teams.
