Mureșanu Felicia, PhD

Felicia Muresanu is doctor in agronomy since 1997 and became associate member of the “Gheorghe Ionescu-Sişeşti” Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences in 2011.

She was scientific researcher at Agricultural Research and Development Station Turda and she was the head of the Plant Protection group  for a long period.  Agricultural research was carried out at ARDS Turda, as an entomologist in the Plant Protection Laboratory. She was also an associate professor at the Department of Biology and Environmental Protection of the Technical College Turda and associate professor at the USAMV Cluj Napoca, Department of Plant Protection. Felicia Muresanu obtained in 2001 and 2003 an expert certificate granted by the German Foundation for International Development, regarding the implementation of EU norms in the protection and health of plants in Romania. She was  scientific manager, team leader or member in more than 20 scientific research projects between 1980 and 2012. She published 107 scientific papers in Romania and abroad. She was member of the International Working Group for Ostrinia nubilalis and other pests of corn (IWGO) and also member of the European Working Group for Agriotes sp. and other soil pests of agricultural crops
